Tears of Joy

Christ wept real tears
for us all, for you and me.
We have forgotten
the true meaning of prayer
and the joy that prayer brings.

Love this. I am so much older now and finally getting into Bible reading. I used to find it boring but now I am also looking at the stories of near death experiencers and I am just loving it. And how the Old Testament was revealing Jesus' plan of redemption all along. How can people not want to be part of that wonderful heaven prepared for believers? 🌹🕊️

My niece is a Jehova's Witness. Regretfully, she upset my mother by saying that she would not be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven because she was not a Jehova's Witness. So sad that the Bible is interpreted in such ways by those who identify themselves as Christians. This also applies to all other religions and instead of spreading peace and harmony results in turmoil and bloodshed.
