Tears and Grace
If I were to shed mine tears
And the angel of mercy
Unbeknownst to me
Would honor them
With a torrent of rain
And streaks of thunder
Troubling the heavens
But heralding a rebirth
If I do shed mine warm tears
Offer me a reprieve Lord..
And promise of glad tidings
Days of joy and merry..
If I were to shed mine tears
A visit from thee I desire
