Tearing Down Walls That Bind (Free Verse)
(Rebuilding Our Lives)
All who have truly lived…
Have, stood behind many walls;
Some had unforeseen bobbed-wired fences
Placed there, by unusual circumstances…
Where it appears, that one may seem to be forced
To react in the unnatural form of ones inherited nature.
Our souls having been imprisoned ~ by falsehoods;
Without knowledge from which wisdom --
Takes up the strides, we shall remain in a weakened state
Behind the very same walls in ignorance…
Contrary to some belief’s ignorance is not bliss my friends
However, knowledge is Power.
It is a responsibility of all to try to lead our lives --
As beings striving productively, in a virtuous manner
This is acceptable to the LORD of our lives.
As saints, we may have fallen a time or two
Nevertheless, we will rise with the knowledge
That the deceiver has no power,
That can truly stand against us
All Glory to God!
He has most assuredly provided
The Rock of Our Salvation --
To knock down those walls that confine
And, loosed the tethers that bind!
As, we continue to believe with the strength of Faith
Always giving thanks to the
Saving Graces of Our Heavenly Father
Forgetting not -- that it was He who sent
His Only Begotten Son,
Our Christ, Our Messiah …
Down to take up that mantle of Salvation
Which was disguised ~ as a cross…
Built for us all right there on Calvary ~
This day I can stand up tall, Hallelujah and state…
Yes! The VICTORY is mine!
Furthermore, it belongs to you and
All who believe it to be true!
No matter what walls lie ahead ~
We having the gift through faith of Spirit
Instilled within each one of us
We can remove the walls… Hallelujah!
We can build mansions of truth…
Upon the rock of our Salvation
Be we young or be we old
So, come on and join me
Let us loose those binding tethers
Let us tear down the walls
Built of hatred and destruction
Lift up our voices, which may have seemed
Silent for too long…
I do not know about you-- but I am on the ready
I am going to be working and shouting…
All Glory to the Lord of All Salvation --
Giving All Praise to the Heavenly Father
I believe you know you should be ready too
If not I strongly suggest that, you do…
For He is indeed worthy of all Praise.
