Teaching Pussy To Swim

I was teaching my cat to swim, His pussy face looked so grim, Dad said, "Make the lessons shorter, you see cats just don't like water, even so, I rate your chances slim."

Just saw your comment here on my comment once I realized maybe you are commenting back to a lot of people this way. I wanted to let you know. i had that function turned off (I do not know when someone has replied to a comment of mine) I just go to my comment box and answer the poets who have come to one of my poems. Anyway, I liked your elaboration to this poem that you gave me.

Yes Lindsay, those puddy cats just won't take to water. Ah well, i guess i'll have to train my dog, at least he should be able to dog paddle. Thanks Lindsay......John
