Tasting Peace
A foyer of light's light
smiling loved ones to the side
a peace beyond earthly peace
a peek into the afterlife
e=mc2 is meaningless
here
miracles are commonplace
if only we could open up and see them
the stem of the water lily
thin ribbons to heaven
gateways to eternity.
The flesh is brief
shed the flesh cocoon
and taste this unearthly peace
if you will.
