Blanketing the earth in a frosty glistening
Beckoning to the heart – wonders so breathtaking,
Lifting the spirits with flakes like glitter, lustrous
Silence, gentling the thoughts and the scene,
Where feelings flood the night with soft and tender
Lights, moon and stars so bright, twinkling
Joy through the melancholic sighs caught by
Winter’s whimsical groans, echoing in the stillness
Quiet joy, endless minutes when the heavens
Seem to open up their voice and send flurries so
Soft, dancing – swirling to the ground to create
The miracle of a magnificently carpeted setting…
	announcing the promises…

For hearts to mend and feelings to blend with the
Intimacy of laughing reflections, mirroring hope
Wonderous affection from the endless drifts, the 
Marvelous peace so alive it sends chills of delight,
Nature’s insight into the compassion of a life so 
Satisfied by the sea of silver, the snowy panorama
Like jewels sparkling, kissing the moments with
Burning truths – purity so clean, so genuine,
Authenticity in the natural world, serenity like 
A hush, singing to the night – in starlight and new
Dramas, dreams fading beneath the secrets
Burning through the past and swathing the heart
In brilliant melodies so tender, so light, they
Feel like the soothing, the comfort, found in the home
Where love grew up, where happiness pierced
The spirit with wishes and ideas, inspirations so real
They colored the mind in exciting traces of the unusual
The amazing, the praise – praying away in a tongue
Only the heavens could understand or expect
To hear – never a fear, only the sweetness of a tear,
Soundless as a dewdrop, walking mutely along
The veins of one leaf, one dream edging its way
Across the night, through the sky, releasing a fragrance
Uplifting and encouraging, optimistic as the sunrise

It is here, where the snowfall glistens, that our light
Tender as the breathe of grace, erases every doubt
And remembers only to listen to the beating of a heart
Who knows that this is the peace that reassures,
The peace who promises relief like no other,
The peace that opens the door to a still, cool joy
That is forever – eternal repose, tranquility far more
Faithful than sun or moon, tranquility – harmony
Brought to life by the glittering praises of a snowfall
Who silences the ways of bitterness and resentment,
Bringing to life the song of elation, hope and acceptance
Love that is like a shy, gentle smile… opening the soul
	To eternal life
