Taking the Edge Off
Here, take this blue pill
It’ll take the edge off ...
of this, I’m certain it will
That’s alright, it’s safe
Dr. Huxtable would know,
I’ve played the good doctor on television before
Here, take the sky color pill
with a glass of champagne
It will help you to relax,
take the edge off ...
If you start to feel a little woozy,
that’s alright, just lay back
and let the good doctor examine you
It’s okay to take a little snoozy
Let me put your dress on the clothes rack,
so Doctor Hux can get a better look to see what to do
That little smurf colored pill
should be kicking in right about now
Just relax, here take another sip —
let it take the edge off ...
It’s good to watch those inhibitions drop,
don’t worry, the good doctor here
won’t let that bad Cosby guy put a hand on you
No need to remember this private session we just had
Everything is confidential cool
Before you leave, would you like another bubbly glass,
what’s that you say?
Oh, the champagne trip to the blue moon was a blast
Say what again,
the good doctor did what?
He gave you another colored pill, for which you didn’t ask
And he had you drink from his personal flask
Okay, now don’t go getting mad ...
remember dear,
Cosby here is a good television dad
