Taking Me Home

Looking at myself in the mirror,
All I see are the monsters,
And demons within.
Looking back at me,
Laughing in my face,
As I look down and the tears flow,
The demons glare back,
Striking me at my lowest point,
The rage inside scorches the blood,
In my body making me numb.
I fall to my knees,
Arms stretched to the sky,
Pleading the Gods above to end,
This suffering and take me home.
I look down as the blood,
Is running out and I see a bright,
Light fills the room,
As Zeus and my brothers comfort,
Me and take me home.
