Taking Ladybug For a Walk

Taking my ladybug for a Walk Casually so to not arouse any suspicion. Because the birds would be jealous The crow would squawk his displeasure. The grasshopper, who usually rode my fingers Would be so miffed, he would stop speaking. Every creature in the garden thought I loved them best. Of course I loved them all, for they enjoyed my vegetables. I would have never wanted to garden without them. My ladybug began crawling up my finger, she was so happy! Sh! I cautioned the wind as it rose higher and louder. Stop that! If he woke up the grasshopper there would be heck to pay!

All these creatures at to the beauty of a garden. I keep a few select weeds so i still vegetables and fruit to pick. Don't like sprays. This one shows you have not lost freshness when writing. This type of poem is as easy to write as one would think. Like it on so many levels including overall effect. Regards David in NZ
