Taking It Too Easy
You know your life has great meaning
when you enjoy listening to your dogs' bark
You know life is getting deeper
when you fall asleep before it's even dark
You know your life is satisfying
when you live to eat your meals
You know you quit trying
when you auto-pay all your bills
You know you only buy the newspaper
when you just want to read the funnies
You know you should pay off credit cards
when you are running out of money
You know you should have kept in touch with friends
when you see them in the obituaries
You know you are taking it too easy
when your picture is under relaxed in the dictionary
