Taking a Break

Dear friends , I just want to let you know that after seven years on poetrysoup, I feel its the right.time for me to take a break.I do not know if its going to be a short one ,or a long one. I thought I ' d let you know, so if you don't see my supporting comments on your poems and blogs, you will know I didn't abandon you, but its just not being here on poetrysoup anymore. I will miss you all, and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Please , do keep me in yours. I tried to think of something beautiful to write for you before I take my break, but my muse isn't helping so I picked two lines from a poem I 've written in the past , and I will post them below.I do wish you all to keep writing plenty of poetry, to keep building a community and not just another poetry site, to have fun on here, and just be happy you have.this opportunity to be here, to meet people from all over the globe , to share what you love doing most-Writing. That is the kind of journey I always tried to have here. Don't feel offended if I don' t reply to your comments. My notifications are off....And guess I'll be off soon too . Take care, be kind to eachother because life is too short .Use your mind , heart ,and soul , lovingly.Use your amazing talent wisely. Thanks to all of you who made these years of being here- Special Ones Love you all !! To All Souper Friends & Tps... In the sand my lonely footrpints But somewhere in a distant land You walk beside me.

We're horrible. We mess up the site. We are known to raid the fridge, empty the pantry. We occasionally pass wind, annoy, interrupt, overdramatize, sniffle, whinge, snore, grunt, growl, grumble, groan, slurp, spit, bite, scratch, cackle... but we really can't help ourselves, most of the time... we are annoying... but we miss you! Hope you come back soon... a week... a month? When ready, okay? xoxoxox

(((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))))))) I understand the need for space, time, a chance to center yourself and perhaps just "be." I do hope it is a short break. You are so very dear in every way... such an enormous heart you have and soul unlike no other. We'll be here... you'll be very very missed, but I trust that God will send you back to us when you feel it is the right time. xoxox Cyndi

Sweetie....I did not see this. I commented on the poem before this one. I missed this due to all the excitement surrounding my birthday...it went on for a few days. Oh Charmaine...I do hope you don't stay away long...Sweetie...your poetry is so....so unique. The enchantment factor GLOWS in your lines. Dreamy...sweet....mesmerizing...your lines speak of a heart that was all those qualities. I'm sad. I cannot write more. Hugs
