Taken

From the beginning the end,
And someone travelling towards you
At the speed of light.
Hurtling through the ages:
Bent on finding you.
Traversing ten thousand mountains,
And tearing them all down,
Terrible in his longing to reach you!
But will you receive him when you see him?
Will you give him all you have?
Let him take you till there’s nothing left,
To give you all he has?
