Take the Broccoli
Take the pill,
take the advice,
take down yesterday
screw back in any loose screws.
Remember right is tight.
Take a pic of your dinner
at the diner
send it to yourself
take a moment to absorb
the broccoli you hate.
Say a pray at the end of the day,
take the end of the day
twist it around your finger
as a memory.
In the morning
take a pill
take a look at your finger
try to remember
what to take with you
into the dwindling hours.
