Take Me There
If I could pick someone to share
This life to live without compare
I’d look your way and not despair
And ask you if you’d boldly dare
Allow this once, we’ll be a pair
You return my gaze and softly swear
Can’t catch my breath, I need more air
I run my fingers through your hair
Into your eyes I boldly stare
I lose myself, my soul laid bare
You say to me, “our love is rare
And frankly dear, you have no prayer
I have you now, you won’t be spared”
No need to know this game is fair
I lean back and I don’t care
I feel and yes I am aware
Please love please, just take me there
