Take it Easy
What did I do to deserve this?
I tried to play by the rules
It has only made me a fool.
It's the reason why I cry,
why I let out a sigh.
Trying to overcome
something that makes me numb.
Something is holding me back,
I want my laughter
and to keep myself on track.
It's the reason why I question life,
and you're nowhere in sight.
How do I take it easy?
What do I have to do?
All my life has been a loss,
and somehow,
It just keeps popping up.
I hate that it affects me,
I am chained to something,
something that won't let me speak.
I will go on with my day,
knowing that it won't be the same.
