As a child, there was usually homemade southern biscuits with Maple Syrup until there was part Maple Syrup then imitation Maple Syrup..I still enjoy this as a treat on occasion..Sara
Syrupy goodness touched morn's lips
Sweetness lifted nights veil
Memories flood heart and mind's eye
