Anaya, you're making me think of the hours spent watching Sylvester as a child. I think I felt sorry for him as he seemed to get the raw end of each attempt to do what a cat would try to do. Today I imagine the cartoon could present an interesting model for people who are bullied, abused, or who never achieve success in any way...yet who do not change their attitude. It was a very psycho-logical viewing experience. Thanks for the cartoon reminder.

Hours indeed, in children hours, an hour seems like forever and a day. You were not alone on that note, I find them sinical and somewhat offensive, I love it , still it's funny. At the time it was bright eyed and curious! You're welcome!

Ah, I really appreciate that, CayCay. Each cartoons character had its own distinctive voice and all from one talented man, the man of a thousand voices. Poetry hugs!

Grateful for the laughter you brought, Anaya. This place unfolds, a woven fabric of earnest purpose.  Your delightful piece on "Sylvester" brought me joy. The ancient TV screen, a treasure of its time, stood unmatched.

I'm thrilled you got a laugh, Sotto Poet. Nostalgic, it's nice to make their character come to life. I agree!

I suggest you stop smokies for a start - For they are detrimental to the heart - Tweety is faster than you’ll ever be - Listen and absorb this advice from me….. Beryl
