My soul has left the serene ocean of the eternal And like a salmon swims upstream The river's turbulent waters of the temporal, Determent to overcome any obstacles found For its destiny to fulfill! © Demetrios Trifiatis 02 September 2018

Indeed it is an ascending journey for Divine mercy and grace.. it is a spiritual and cleansing journey of wise souls.. a journey of self awareness and deeper understanding of the complexities of human nature and the universe.. a good choice of the metaphor! So often Life seems like this, an upstream battle, though rewards in the end are well worth the challenging swim. amazing poem my dearest friend ....Maria xxx
