My soul has left the serene ocean of the eternal

And like a salmon swims upstream

The river's turbulent waters of the temporal,

Determent to overcome any obstacles found

For its destiny to fulfill!

Indeed it is an ascending journey for Divine mercy and grace.. it is a spiritual and cleansing journey of wise souls.. a journey of self awareness and deeper understanding of the complexities of human nature and the universe.. a good choice of the metaphor!
