Sweetheart Dumpling—marshmallow

Oh my sweetheart, charming and eloquent, Honey pie, sugar plum, with sweet raisins, So soft like cotton candy that just melts, My apple pie with ice cream and cherry. Sweet as glazed donuts filled with apricots, Tasty sugar dumpling in lentil soup, Delish as juicy mangoes freshly picked My shaking jello mixed with nice yogurt. Sweet lips like honey with a dripping comb, Such chanting bedroom eyes enticing me, Your crimson cheeks symbolizing fragrance Warm passionate breath stimulates my soul. Such grander is my honey suckle doll, Her charm turns me into a marshmallow! ~~~~~~~~~~~***~~~~~~~~~~~ © Joseph, 9/4/08 © All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~***~~~~~~~~~~~ Joseph S. I would really like to give you a ten. This is so mouthwatering. You almost want to dig into all that delicious food only it's not food but a tribute to your beloved. I guess I'll have to enjoy an imaginary dish. Excellent Joseph. I hope you are feeling much better now. Blessings, Meg.

that sweetheart of yours sounds really, rewally sweet. I love the way this poem was written...man! this is a poem I can really relate to... good one joseph and keep it up, your poem is so sweet that it just took away the sour bitter taste i had in my mouth caused by hangover.. if we can just bottle this poem and sell it as hangover cure then we'd make a lot of money...keep it up John E

Way more fun to write about an obnoxious clam, Joseph. I hope all went well for you yesterday...I guess most of our fears come from the unknowns. Still, bravery badges aren't easy to lay our hands on. Thank you for the comment Joseph...I guess at that time I could have been one who would have needed your assistance. My intuition did tell me something was terribly wrong...I kept shoving it aside, bad me.:) I know you're going in tomorrow...I'll pray that things go well. God bless you, love, Mikki

Very creative, Joseph, and so very fun and funny. (I can't stop smiling :) Your poetry is so diverse, and it always strikes a chord somewhere. We do use food as forms of endearment. This piece sounds delicious. I truly am smiling "my shaking jello" and "honey suckle doll", would surely set someone into a giggling frenzy. Best to you, Joseph!
