Sweet Melody

But what doth my ears hear? That sound which is soft and silent, A music so sweet and clear, Nothing brute and nothing violent. A melody that sings in twilight, That sensational song that people love, The chorus chants in sacred white, That sweet song from up above. This quiet song where sweet nectar lies, Is one man's savior and another's demise.
