Sweet Dreams of Thee
In sweet dreams I walk with thee
in fields of gold and forests deep
thy hand in mine we wander free
lost in the counsel that we keep.
From honey'd lips I long to hear
thy tender musings they impart
and through my veins their course is clear
to seize my ever thrumming heart.
I lie with thee in meadows fair
entangled in loves bold embrace
lost in the rapture that we share
encompassed by thy loving grace.
In dreams so sweet thy love I know.
Oft to these dreams I chance to go.
