Sweet Aroma

A sweet aroma enters through my office window. In the distance I can see an airplane approaching. I turn to answer the telephone on my desk. Suddenly I hear and feel a loud rumbling sound. I gaze out the window and see a plane aimed at me. Dread consumes me, yet all I can focus in on is that sweet aroma. Note: Dedicated to the victims of 9/11/2001

It was such a sad day. Perhaps someone had coffee brewing or fragrant flowers on their desk as the plane approached. Very nice dedication Sheol! Love, Carolyn

Effective as a reminder of that day..I will always remember what I did that day for it is implanted in my brain..I have kin that live in that area but they were all retired at the time and would not have been anywhere around the area or at least I would have thought so and they were...Keep the creative and historical wirtes flowing..Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..Sara
