It was Alvin the croc's special day,
to the lake all his friends led the way.
They said “Come, make it snappy
‘cause to make your day happy
we’ve ordered your fave take-away”

I like this. line three has a laugh aloud crack to it. I like limericks myself as they seem to bring out everyone's best humor. Regards, Gerard
