             - Pleasant pink is a perfect place,

to embrace how I feel. . . .   to escape,

It's sensual and smooth, not to overstate the obvious ;) Also, it's deep (once again) with rich, luxurious, layers suggested by your use of oxymoron and paradox ("sweet ache" "Holding on tight, yet so light").
