Suzanne's Impish Maltese

Eyes gleam onyx-black, white silky hair gently flows
Pampered with kisses, hugs and chic bows
It's Suzanne's impish Maltese
The first lap dog, from Old Greece
Sparking heart-rending love which glows, spreads and grows

Well well, what a surprise to find this cute limerick about my Maltese pup. You are so good at these Robert. I will read it to him when he wakes up. Thanks and Kea says Woofy wishes too. SuZ

I read it to him, Robert and he understood every word. I guess from being with humans for that long it is uncanny what they know. We often swear he is human a bit on the manipulative side. I always say he stood in the cuteness line three times when God was giving out traits. Ha ha SuZ

My Maltese dedication was written with a reverent admiration deservent of this loyal, precious breed. I hope it will bring him pleasure and he won't act to coy about it!

I've always found the maltese dog to be exquisite and what's there not to love? Thanks Michael!

Nice tribute to Maltese breed. The dog sounds well pampered. It's nice to know the history of the breed. Personally, I've always favored the larger breeds but enjoyed it.

I too prefer larger breeds, our conversations tend to be much more meaningful! Thanks for the comments, Robert

Love it Robert. Maltese Terriers are such cute fur babies. Your poem is magic. Suz will be thrilled.

Thank you, Wendy. They were the original lap dogs 3,000 years ago, rich women treated them like they were babies.
