Surrender To Me
I see thy broken heart bleed, wet upon thy face.
The sorrow of thy heart finds echo in mine.
Will love once more breathe its awakening breath?
I beg of thee, allow me to reclaim thy wounded heart,
oh yield your love to me!
Can true love yet tempt thee from the sorrows of thy heart?
My dearest love, teach me the words to thy heart’s song
that I may woo thee with love’s sweetest melody.
Turn thy thoughts from heartache and pain,
and surrender to my offering.
