Surreality

“One’s destination is where one’s been, if in a surreal dream a reverse world, is what one has seen”         ~~ The Poet ~~

A surreal new take on life I found in a dream.
Falling asleep nothing was right it would seem.
Defying logic, I blissfully went with the flow.
In this reverse world green was stop and red meant go.

The clock ticks backwards, unwinding the day, 
In this dream of reversal, where nothing can stay. 
As the world rewinds, seeking a moment of peace,
An epic journey where all troubles cease.

A magic enigma in my dream of a time ensuing.
Where life travels backwards and old keeps renewing
Starting off I break the ribbon as I cross the finish line.
Stepping backwards I reach the start as my run I redefine. 

In slow motion, rain from the soaked ground now teams, 
Upwards returning to the clouds in endless streams. 
I see folk holding umbrellas upside down. 
Confused I meet this spectacle with a frown.

Everything going backwards, as if caught in rewind. 
Waterfalls flowing upward, a mesmerizing find. 
Birds flying backwards, defying gravity's call. 
All vehicles travel backward, reversing it all. 

The old grow young in this dreamlike reverie. 
Signs written backwards “Things sale on every.”
Beauty and spirituality at intertwined slow pace.
In this surreal rebirth of time and space. 

Daily life starts over in a paradoxical dance.
Confusion blending with optimism by chance. 
An adventure unfolds in this mystical land.
Where the surreal meets reality's steady hand.

Awakening from this restless sleep.
My progressing mind unable to keep. 
An enigma that has muddled my mind.
Surrendering again to sleep in rewind.

Life in reverse to a dream time enhance, 
Soaring eagles take a backward chance. 
Evolving waves flow against the norm, 
Backwards now becomes the new form. 

Raindrops float upward with grace, 
In this surreal and dreamy place. 
New beginnings become the end, 
All enemies have become your friend.

Every step retraced, every moment found, 
Embracing the unknown, backwards bound. 
Reborn under a mystical sky's red hue, 
Reversing through what may seem untrue. 

Embracing the unfamiliar without fear, 
Navigating the calm that draws near. 
Turning to move backward once more,
Overflowing heart yearns for what's in store. 

The symphony of life plays an ulterior tune, 
Opening doors to a world unknown soon.
Every step taken is reversal once more.
When push becomes pull just to open a door.

Progression is a memory, a thing of the past.
Winning a race means you actually come last.
I am settling so peacefully in this new way of life.
Peak hour is no more there’s no more strife.

If a build down exists a pause button is deemed.
Its perfectly logical this surreal way I dreamed.
Until I awaken to the dream free old world,
Where chaos, and hurried life are again unfurled.
