Surprising
From twenty feet I saw him
when he first looked at me
I really took his breath away.
He looked at me as if he had
seen me in his dreams a thousand times.
We exchanged 'Hellos.'
He remains a mystery.
Still
it was a nice
pleasant surprise
and I saw it
with my own eyes.
