Sunshine Sonnet

SUNSHINE SONNET
Night lifts dark veil to raised roof of the sky Dawn drizzles golden streaks on horizon Paints mute meadow where dreaming dew drops lie Dance of hues starts under the shine of sun. Shadow of cloud melts on my fluid face In your heart you feel my sunburst love flow Rhythm of colors ripples you with grace Like a wet leaf touched by twilight you glow. After moon sinks splashing blue dust on me Onto the dream soaked smoky sky I’ll rise Float like cloud flushed by first sunray you’ll see I'll embrace you with halo of sunrise. At the end of walk through day bright and new I’ll write a sunshine sonnet just for you.
