Sunshine
Car won’t start and it's raining outside
It’s another Monday and your late for work
The mud is always muddier, on your backside
and every helping hand, feels like a smirk
Mondays come and go and the rain will pass
It's called the blues, Sunshine
It's Monday again and you got go to work
Your girl done left, calling you a joke
It's early and the coffee maker is broke
It’s pouring, as you drudge through the murk
Mondays come and go and the rain will pass
It's called the blues, Sunshine
It’s raining all-around, feeling the hobo clown
Hung-over and out of work, this Monday
The tears jerk, as you look for a little ray
even harder to see, when lying face down
Mondays come and go and the rain will pass
It's called the blues, Sunshine 2/20/2018
