Sunset Lullaby
Slumber sets on tired eyes
As sun is dying in the skies
A golden hue in distant gleam
Will settle gently in my dream
The final kiss of sunshine's glow
Cast silhouettes in indigo
The fading of the last sunbeam
Will settle gently in my dream
The sky transforms into cerise
And lingers with a song of peace
Then purple shades will softly stream
And settle gently in my dream
Day then makes its curtain call
With a splendor that enthralls
And lullabies will dare to scheme
And settle gently as I dream
