Sunset At Birch Lake
Sunset on birch lake
Colors streak across the sky
Harolding the full moons silent rise
Reflecting on a lake of silver glass
As one listens a frog hops in
A fish flops on a hook,splish splash
And birds chirp softly
Preparing to lay down to rest
The winds music playing softly in my ear
And my eyes slowly close
Heavy from hours of fun on the water front.
As i listen to the Golden stars singing
To the night winds soft music
I sigh contentedly as i drift off to sleep
I wake to the song of birds high in the trees
And the suns slow rise bathing the silver lake
in aquatic blues once again,
Soon fun at the lake to begin again.
