Sunset
When I think of sky, I think blue,
But today’s sunset changed it all,
Just in the twinkling of an eye,
Colours crisscrossed canvas of sky.
Clouds created their own shades,
With some strands dark and bright,
Never had I seen the art from God,
Such a beautiful formation so high.
Some brush strokes of red and white,
The colours bathed in dim sunlight,
From a distance I could visualize,
Transforming colours, dim to bright.
The orange fireball waved goodbye,
And night swallowed the hues of sky.
