Sunrise Symphony NOT FOR CONTEST
White Thunder Hawk is her native name
She rides her horse across the plains
Her favorite spot is sacred ground
She will pray with faith on holy mound
Just before the sun will rise
See the red fire in her eyes
A symphony of nature is moved
By her heart her soul her truth
There’s a bear bathing nearby
She isn’t worried for her life
The animals know her well
She keeps their secrets will not tell
In the grass a bunny scurries
As she passes in a hurry
She has herbs and sage to burn
As she prays and the sky turns
Orange ball rolls up the sky
Her song is tall full of pride
She starts small with closed eyes
As the sun shines, begins to rise
Bird seem to join in with her
They tweet they caw matching words
And the clouds move like waves
Symphony of sun welcomes new day
