Sunrise Softness
Sunrise Softness
How do cats know what we need?
It's so chilly this morning, here in
oh so still, golden, wine country.
I'm lying here snug on the couch.
Santorini -blue quilt, iPad, coffee,
writing poetry.
Here comes my warm,calico coverlet!
Leaping up on me!
Ah, her gold eyes like a warm
fireplace glow...
Her master pieced painted body.
The magical ebb and flow of blessed
warmth on my thighs, oh!
I call her, a bit of heaven on earth.
An angel, if you will, in disguise.
My calico, Irene, feline majesty.
My sunrise wine country surprise.
Sun Spirit, simultaneusly painting all
the houses ,vividly, golden bright!
