Haiku Sonnet - Form Created by David Marshall beauties of the fields a gift of god's creation- sunflower power lovely bursts of fire slow dancing in the meadow- stir hypnotic trance burnished centers glow mid bright golden fiery rings- field of mini suns petal streams of gold, form circles of brilliant flares- windswept tongues aflame when in bloom, they stand apart- landscapes of creative art

Nice poem. The first line in second stanza seems to have six syllable according to syllable counter on this website. Sorry to point possible errors, I am new and learning. Thanks.

Hi Jay, thank you for stopping by with your "nice" comment! The syllable counter on Poetry Soup is not always accurate. That is why most contest sponsors tell us to use howmanysyllables.com for accuracy. The word "fire" is one syllable, not two. Again, thanks for your visit! Sandra
