Hello Rico - For those who never become the butterfly I pray. The thought of that is beyond sad. If we have a breath we must live with the light of the sun and moon. Thank you for sharing your talent. It was a pleasure turning to your page today. Take care.

Only few become butterflies and though brief is their life, they delight many hearts. That way their short life gains meaning ! Well thought out Rico

Hello Rico ... how true. Spend all that time fighting to survive; turn into something beautiful with wings and then bingo, in a few days gone - thank you Rico - Lindsay

‘Mother’ nature always struck me as something of a misnomer. It seems we agree. ‘Nice’ one, Rico

It’s simple to comprehend. Only 5% of butterfly eggs survive to emerge from their chrysalis as a healthy butterfly. Then live a very short life to lay and fertilize eggs before they die. I admire your limerick, telling their story, Rico.

In Hawai'i, Bulbuls can't wait for a butterfly's wings to dry before they gobble them up. Bulbuls vie to catch them in the air, so it is common to see butterfiles with bits of their wings missing, proving some birds are not impressed with beauty?
