Sunday Afternoon Nap
A steamy Sunday late afternoon
I shall succumb to a nap very soon
And let the world go where it may
As I on my couch, comatose, lay
Dreaming of mysteries unsolved
Life’s quandaries yet unresolved
My reveries are soon interrupted
My superb solutions are corrupted
When kitchen smells waft through
I shout, “What’s for dinner? Stew?”
