I have watched on occasion and yes they are big and fit. I am amazed how some of the smaller guys are able to overtake the bigger ones.

Like David and Goliath sometimes, they live in Sumo camps a bit like gladiators really.It started as a religious rite where they'd perform to ensure a good harvest.

Yes I know Mick, apparently they have strict training camps like gladiators and despite their size are quite fit.

Ha a clash of the Titans - I've seen this in Osaka Japan. A lot of pushing, shoving and belt gripping till one loses his grip and falls off the ring - Quite hilarious actually. You have captured the scene admirably, I commend you...Maria

Thank you Maria, I've seen some bouts on TV, researching it though it is a religious thing and it's supposed to please the gods in ancient times anyway.
