In summer’s sweetest time,
There was no space at all
for rhyme.
Off to the fragrant forest
we went.
And erotic, moments, there
we had spent.
My head rested in joy upon your
full lap.
Exotic scent of pinewood’s sweet
tree sap.
You tickled me, so hard, with joy
I cried.
I’d relive each moment, if I only
could.
In your yellow truck, in those very
thick woods.
It held steaming passion’s secret,
That not a soul knows…….
Days of youth, forever are gone.
You, and only you, are my
eternal summer song!

Robert.you, like the robber below me, both are people who I am in contact with since I first came here. They were both banned by men. almost. like family.))) I like the spot in the lot and I am glad I showed that picture because it’s very accurate.. I had forgotten all about John’s truck. He just love that thing. And a l what a soft and loving being he was. Gracias. Panagiota

A wonderfully romantic new creation my good friend. In youth love is new and also deepest when it is true. To have had such is a treasured blessing. A fav. God bless.

I just reread it and I do like it.he was a fun man who smiled a lot, loved Texas and life. And he loved that truck and horses. I noticed a shift in these past two poems that I am pleased with. And I cannot put my finger on it..for sure, this is not my first no less romantic poem. But there’s something new about it.. …what is not new is your long lasting, friendship, that.I don’t take lightly! Or not for you I doubt I would have been here. Then he wouldn’t like that. But I’m not here to be a Miss America. I value the writings and integrity you bring to this site. Thank you, Robert. Panagiota
