Summers Song Surrounded Us

In summer’s sweetest time,
There was no space at all 
for rhyme.
Off to the fragrant forest 
we went.
And erotic, moments, there
we had spent.
My head rested in joy upon your 
full lap.
Exotic scent of pinewood’s sweet
tree sap.
You tickled me, so hard,with joy
I cried.
I’d relive each moment, if I only
could.
In your yellow truck, in those very
thick woods.
It held steaming passion’s secret, 
That not a soul knows…….
Days of youth, forever are gone.
You, and only you, are my
eternal summer song!

I noticed a shift in these past two poems that I am pleased with. And I cannot put my finger on it..for sure, this is not my first no less romantic poem.
