"Live in each season as it passes: breathe the air, drink, taste the fruit and resign yourself to the influence of the earth." Henry David Thoreau ~ ~ ~ Oh dear- our summer's going fast with August, more than half-way, done. Each day grows shorter with less sun; but how we wish this stage could last. September seems much closer now; just yesterday, came spring's rebirth. So soon, the autumn paints the earth from greens to golds- redos each bough. And so it goes, each season's stay is but a gift earth grants in stride. Embrace the pleasures they provide- those special joys they bring our way. Susan, this is beautiful. The photo's ever-changing picture sets the stage so well. Thoreau probably appreciated nature more than most people, but we all see the days growing shorter as summer comes to a close and it can make us sad. I hope you are doing well. I have loved using the soaps your daughter made. Hugs, carolyn
