Summer Rain

Serotinal days, pouring rain eased drought
Some were blessed with right amount, others flood
While some enjoy late summer garden sprout
Some work to throw out piles of rotting crud
Summer rain upon forest fire, drowns out
Summer rain on saturated ground scud
Blessings of showers or torture from storm
We know God yet does miracles perform
