As summer duly ends thoughts of fun-filled leisure still linger in my heart laughter, joy, fellowship one longs for at the start As summer duly ends the playful child within dwells on sunshine capers deep green tides, sandcastles awestruck blue sky gapers As summer duly ends its pearl clad fair journey encased inside a log of gleaming shore elan to dissipate the fog As summer duly ends autumn, winter, christmas will shortly grace our door with bright leafs, gusts, snowfall to relish even more

A lover of winter weather so it seems. I like the descriptiveness, rhythm, and rhyme in this one. I am glad that I chose it to read today. Your visit to my page was encouraging. Sara K

Poem is happy at any season. This positive looking ahead is gentle and relaxing. I enjoyed the childhood descriptions. Ocean beaches seem to signal beginnings.
