Summer
Summer in Arizona
Some think it’s too much to bear
I think they might be right
Other states just don’t compare.
It’s really not so bad
It’s a dry heat you know
Except when the monsoons come
You sweat and I don’t mean glow.
The storms come so quickly
Lightening flashes all around
The thunder booms and shakes
Dogs cower to the ground.
Air conditioning everywhere
So cold beyond belief
Sometimes you go outside
Just to get a little relief.
It’s really not so bad
This state that resembles hell
It has a lot of good qualities
No other place would I dwell.
