coldest since records were kept

Where are you Alaska? Everybody else is speaking of the heat. You must be reading a lot Covey is not a word I'm use to.

John, I think covey might be local used with quail(partridge), dove and other small game birds. Sometimes bevy, cote, flight, or dule is used. When I said coldest first day of summer on record, I think it might have been 70 that day. It was 70 early this morning and will be in the low eighties today with it going up. I had been hotter here then a cool spell. I like it cooler like maybe 50 at night at up to 72 during the day. Sara

So beautiful and with accompaniment pic…so perfect! A fave! I’m loving the weather. Summer but 60’s. I know the heat is coming so I am good for now. Wow, we’ve had such a pleasant Spring…better than all the years I’ve been here!

Kim, I am with you. It has been a very interesting spring and mostly enjoyable. We have had some hot days and some days too much rain but all in all it has been nice. We will see what summer has to offer. Thanks for the visit. Always glad you drop by. Sara

Victor, Sorry to learn your area is uncomfortably hot already. We have had one either 91 or 93 here but then a rainy spell with cooler temperatures came which coincided with the first day of summer. We've had a lot of rain here of late which has its good points and its bad points. Water in the basement again but the plants are adequately watered without us having to pump it from the well. Anne-Lise, Sadly it does come with its heat and humidity. I like spring and fall better. We have to have a little uncomfortable though. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
