Suitcase of Sorrows

I packed a bag To board a plane No hopes of Coming back again Leave behind a tainted mane Full of lies and tortured gain It seemed so easy I turned away I wait by the window Hollow eyes Wind waving thistles Hypnotic but artificial Feels like I’m fading Forgetting years of dreams I stand tall in someone else’s skin Flashing smiles trying to face my sins Safety has its shelter It’s roof shingled with hope Assumptions anchor tranquility Can fill a cavity that thirsts for more There’s danger in the lightening But I want to dance with electricity Let the storm consume me Devour me, with its toxicity

A GOOD WRITE! Med. Likes the description of our new individualistic situation killing us even in Africa - loneliness and sorrow cling to each soul like some Siamese twins. Canny.
