A tragedy of many deaths by ones own hand. Who are they and who is to blame?

Suicide Dolls Tiss a maddening state of affairs Why my lovers don’t gas themselves to death Have they not the decency to assist my endeavors? Is my future to be written in stone of no importance to them? The public would breath and eat the words Of all my little suicide dolls If only, if only they would find the ovens Yeast you have failed me in these dire moments Let me rise above it all With poetic verse Sing to all my tragedies My death and re-birth In the gas chambers of poetic verse

Holy crap... I have a new page to adore, Arthur... your poetry is stunning...and this one is just... fantastic...I got chills as well...poetry that stings... it has a real malignantly ironic touch to it."In the gas chambers of poetic verse"...brilliant!! Always, Laura

Arthur, now that I have read all about Ted Hughes and his tragic family, I can understand what lies behind this expressive poem. #7 // paul

You certainly have a thing for controversial love affairs with historical impact as source of inspired writes. Without the background explanation, I would certainly have interpreted this another way. A gift you have too, for verses with deeper implication while treating them lightly. Love the impudence in the line "Yeast you have failed me in these dire moments". Need I say the rating? PS. On your question re JIM...haven't gone on an adventure with him lately, maybe you can suggest ...

Beautiful-sad-gloomy typical Arthur's writing :o) This gave me chills really, to have such an innocent thing like oven get related to suicide. Thank you for the mental image I guess? :P Excellent writing as always, Arthur. Cooking would never feel the same anymore!!

Deeply disturbing write my friend but suicide is such an event.. You gave great cause to think deeply on this and we should consider the value of life.. A7...

this one really humors me, Arthur. I am imagining little Pillsbury dough boy girls backing in the oven.

This is based on a true story, in fact one of the poets in this story is in my avatar, a very sad story of many suicides
