Suicide

Suicide I sip your poison. It burns going down. I don’t care as long as you’re around. The blade of the knife, fighting for my life…pleasure in pain, I drown in you again. Blood and sin, sinking in, you are gone. I carry on…. Shallow breath. Peace in death. Choose to stay, one more day. True confessions. Dark obsessions. You will never know. Gasping for air. You’re not there. I let go.

A warm welcome to PoetrySoup I offer to you Madeline. I wish for you the best in your writing endeavors whatever they may be. May you find inspiration by reading some of the poetry written here by other poets. Read and comment on their's and they will return in kind. May the sun shine on you that you might find great joy in your life. Love, Carol

Don't do it! Suicide never accomplished anything. It only made things tougher for the survivors.
