Sugar Mountain
It is you and me when two become one
when time passes under a yellow moon
and journey’s path chisels tender embrace
Sketches double essence and transcends reality
Dangling from whacky witch hazel branches
the enchantress suspends all worries
my sorcerer illuminates with magic touch
She swings on her broom sways back and forth
casts almond eyes visits our indigo crown
mops up by-gone sorrows and cobwebs past
Enters my naked mind splashes soul and explores
A festival of nourishment evolves from mango clouds
peaches’ senses spray lover’s vapour and climb
rainbows of fluted soft hues on pastel and canvas
Psychic water falls on fertile crest and crevices
endears cascades of longing and peace in the fold
pumps pleasure engulfs harbour’s crescendo
Fills and fulfils the good witches’ dreams' gifts
Magic wands wander drawn by purposeful strides
miraculous carpets thread bare bosom and loin
when mountain flows over lute’s sceptre
Hexing waning and waxing a lunar crescent
rocks and rolls on a bed of jasmine and roses
as spikes thistle and whistle patient tattoos
Hitch craft twitches once anticipation comes true
