Suffocate
It’s tight no room to breathe
Baby brother crying
Big bro and friends getting high
Sister’s tucked away in her room with her boyfriend
Always being sent home from school
Being high is the new norm
And his mom
Her mother
She’s the mom who regularly sniffles like she has a cold
Sometimes he wonders if she even knows her role
He can’t recollect the last time he ate a sizzling meal
or when she bought him clothes
One thing is for sure,
He definitely comprehends her leaving and going
When he’s not being victimized or yelled at,
His happiness is non-existent
Not saying that he doesn’t love his mother
Right now love is his father who is irrelevant
His home very unstable
My sentiments
for they are unable
